Graduate Diploma, in the areas of Diamond, Gemstones & Jewellery design commence as per the pre determined schedules. For all other certificate level programmes you need to fill up the application form & send it to us, along with the necessary fees & document.


The minimum age of admission is 15 years. The candidates should be physically fit to undertake the training. The institute, however, reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without any explanation.

Application for Admission

The admission form for enrollment to a programme is attached with the brochure. It should be duly filled in and submitted to the institute well on time. The candidate should clearly indicate the name of programme he/she is interested to join by filling the relevant information in the application form. Admission is subject to availability of seats.

Mode of Payment

Fees of any certificate level programme or diploma programme can be paid in installments or total down payment can be made during the time of admission. Fees can be paid either in the form of cash or cheque drawn in favour of “Sawansukha Institute of Gemology & Jewellery Designs”

Request for change in Programme

Change in programme is allowed only if one is keen to switch over from a lower to higher programme (i.e. individual courses to Masters in Gems & Jewellery) The request for the same needs to be made for the upgradationThe change is subject to availability of seats, eligibility criteria and is dependent on the permission of the Director. In such case, the candidate has to pay processing fee towards administrative change & has to pay up the difference in the fee. Fees once paid will not be refunded in any case.

Withdrawal of admission

Fees will not be refunded to the students seeking withdrawal from the programme on their own. 50% of their all deposits will also be confiscated.

Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals have to pay fees in US $ by demand draft as mentioned in the prospectus. Also, foreign nationals have to pay 50% of fee in US $ by demand draft along with application form as an advance fee to get "Letter of Acceptance-cum-Selection Letter" which will allow them to get student visa from respective consulates.
