When was SIG established?
- Ans. SIG- Sawansukha Institute of Gemology & Jewellery Design is a division of Sawansukha Jewellers. The institute was set up in 2007.
What was the objective behind establishing SIG?
- Ans. SIG was established to impart high level of education and training to its students and improve on the art of Jewellery Designing & Manufacturing. We want you to have the detailed knowledge of the gems and jewellery world. To provide you the education gained by the experience of about two centuries.
Where is the SIG campus located?
- Ans. SIG campus is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. The campus is in the main commercial center of Kolkata that is 9, Camac Street, and we have two other branches, located at Howrah & Liluah.
What are the different facilities available at SIG?
- Ans. The facilities provided at the institute are Workshops that are state of the art, well equipped classrooms with audio visual aids, computer lab which teaches students jewel CAD among others.
